Why is decorating for the holidays such a crazy thing? Or is it just me? Seems like making a mess is just an inevitable part of the process. You have to get everything out to make sure you know your "stock of goods" because there is nothing worse than getting something arranged and then you open a box to find a decoration you forgot about and would much rather have up. The kids were excited to help this year. It was kinda fun to figure out where to put things in a new house. The kids were big helpers, but their attention span wasn't long enough to get the job done. It took a couple days and a trip to Tai Pan to get some new decorations for the tree before the job was done. We were pretty happy with the result so we thought we would share a picture of the tree.

Cute tree! Looks like you girls have seen one or two Festival of Trees before.
I love all the decorations you picked out at Tai Pan. They look great on your tree! That is fun that the girls are old enough to be a help during the decorating process. I put Ally to bed before I started the process at my house.
